Discover why Afterburn Workouts Fitness Camps are unlike all the other Boot Camps out there!

Boot Camps are all over the country and even the world!  They are popping up everywhere. So what's all the hype about?  Well it should be all about high efficiency, effective exercise routines.  Unfortunately it’s not. Most traditional Boot Camps are just a glorified aerobics class, usually in an outdoor setting, minus the leg warmers. Ok, so maybe that was a harsh statement but they do offer a lot of what you’ll find in the traditional aerobics class.

Such as:

  • isolated movements
  • the same boring and ineffective exercises you find in the aerobics classes
  • the instructor working out with you and NOT offering personal one-on-one attention and form correction
  • a feeling of cheorgraphed movement segments
  • promises of ‘spot reducing’ those problem areas
  • longer than necessary rest periods
  • lack of functional exercises that are relative to every day life
  • abs segments using traditional crunches to supposedly get you that 6-pack or flat tummy
  • workouts that are the same week in and week out only with more reps added
  • lower intensity workouts

These are just a few of the many things that I have seen in traditional Boot Camps that can leave the participant thinking ‘Hey, I can get the same thing at my local gym for much cheaper.’

So how does Afterburn Workouts Fitness Camps differ from the traditional Boot Camp?

Well for one thing, you won’t find ANY of the above things that I mentioned that you usually find in traditional Boot Camps. You’ll never what to expect during the workout (or from me for that matter). Every workout is different utilizing hybrid, multi-joint movements. All this means is that we are moving more muscles at once and that means more fat burning for your buck. Workouts are specifically designed to create that ‘after burn’ effect that can last for up to 48 hours AFTER the workout is finished! We get back to the basics with bodyweight training. If you can’t move your own bodyweight, you have no business using weights. Truth is, low impact and low intensity strength training exercises are NOT going to get you where you want to be. Our higher intensity workouts, with minimal rest periods, equals unparalleled fat burning! Bottom line is that Afterburn Workouts Fitness Camps are results driven…and delivering results is what we do best!
